Our Three Core Principals: Keep it Simple
Simple Retirement Options
With so many options, a simple retirement strategy may seem impossible. Going into retirement, you have a lot of decisions to make, such as where will you put your money? You may have an IRA or 401(k) account, but perhaps you’re unsure whether or not your money should stay there. Furthermore, you may be wondering what types of accounts are best for long-term use. With so many choices, trying and making your retirement as easy as possible seems difficult.

Simple is Often Better
You might’ve felt comfortable investing your money in the stock market earlier in your working years. However, you’re likely looking for a safer place for your nest egg now that you are approaching retirement. The ups and downs of the stock market aren’t ideal, now that you don’t have time on your side. You probably want a place to keep your money where it’ll stay protected and won’t be impacted by a drop in the market. However, this must be done in a way that’s easy for you to understand. A complex strategy isn’t necessarily a better strategy. In fact, we believe that striving for simplicity is often better.
Products like fixed indexed annuities (FIAs) or indexed universal life insurance (IUL) policies may be able to provide the level of safety and simplicity you want. Some of these options could provide you with an income for life, no matter what happens in the stock market. Additionally, with an FIA, you may be able to increase your income to compensate for inflation through an optional income rider. You’ll also obtain a reasonable rate of return** with an FIA. Retirement options that offer simplicity may not be as elusive as you thought.
